Fix PC Error - Improve PC Performance

Not so long ago a friend of my mine had massive problems with her PC consistently the glitch that kept occurring was that every time the computer restarted there would be these annoying dialog boxes appearing saying such things as: " Windows Cannot Find X" or "Desktop Could run or Load X."  My friend was in a state and even though I had instructed her as to what she should do to cure the problem, she told me she felt very uncomfortable even fearful of trying to fix the computer operating system.  So she depended on me to sort things out for her.  In this very short article you will discover how of a really good solution that I implemented solved my friends computer woes.

Firstly, you must understand the Windows version you are running on your computer.  Once you do that, you'll be able to spot where in the registry, that is trying to load your program.

(If you don't know what you are doing, there are some pretty hand tools that can really help though in saying that, be-careful because they can foul up too because they're sometimes too good.)

Secondly, I backup my registry using "reg-edit".  Simply enter the words in the run dialog box, located in the Start Menu, clicked "File" in the registry editor from the drop-down menu, then clicked export and chose the desktop to store the file.

Thirdly,  I obtained a really handy program called registry smart and with one click, the program analysed the registry and repaired the faults, this took all of a few minutes, then restarted the computer.  My friends PC started up lovely and fast.  She is very happy.

Why does the Windows Registry Corrupt.

Think of your car, would you run your car on dirty oil or allow yourself to drive your car with dodgy braking system.  Of course not.  The health of your car is in  jeopardy as is your personal safety.  So every so often give your car a good service to maintain its ability to drive.  The same principle applies to your PC.  If you want your PC running at its optimum best then you need to service it regularly.   And you don't need to spend hundreds to some techno geek who will service your computer at his convenience. 

The more you use the computer, the more resources you use and over time can become very "dirty."  For instance, when you surf the net you visit many sites.  Every site you find Windows will record your "Internet trail."  By saving the website in what is called the temporary folder, the more you surf the more information is placed in this folder taking up much need hard drive space.  The temporary folder is designed to load a website quicker on your return.  You really do need to clean up the clutter, and that's just one piece of the clutter puzzle there is just so much of it around.
